If you are interested in becoming a better public speaker for your career, increasing your comfort level as a speaker or just becoming a better speaker for yourself, join us as a member of the CCLI Toastmasters Club.
The CCLI Toastmasters CLub was officially chartered on March 29, 2011 as a unit of the International Toastmasters organization which has helped millions to achieve their goals as public speakers. Since its inception, the Club has seasoned CCLI toastmasters members: Jimmie Chin, Jennifer Chan and Fern Rashkover attending our meetings. Combined, they have over 50 years of experience in the Toastmasters organization on public speaking. They continue to participate in Toastmasters meetings because they believe the program helps you to become more proficient and comfortable in public speaking. Our CCLI Toastmasters members find the meeting very productive, insightful and loads of fun while becoming an effective speaker! Every members can practice speaking at each and every meeting.
In 2012, Jim Vogel placed second in the Toastmasters District 46 Fall 2102 speech contests. Helen Chin received her Competent Communicator award. Shirley Shing received her Competent Communicator Leadership award. Best of all, CCLI Toastmasters became a Distinguished Toastmasters Club!
The CCLI Toastmasters Club meets at the Center from 10:00am to 11:30am, the second and fourth Saturday mornings of the month. You are cordially invited to see what we are all about.
